Tender, juicy salmon bites glazed in a sweet, nutty honey-sesame sauce. These kebabs are quick to prepare and perfect for an easy weeknight dinner.

We had this for lunch yesterday and it was fantastic—perfectly tender salmon with a buttery texture and a bright, flavorful glaze. The honey and sesame oil give the marinade a pleasant sweetness and nuttiness, while garlic and lemon add depth and brightness.
Because the salmon is cut into small cubes, it cooks very quickly—about 10 minutes in the oven—so avoid overcooking to keep the fish moist and flaky.

Serve these kebabs with your favorite sides. Steamed white rice, saffron rice, fried rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables are all great options. A fresh cucumber salad also pairs nicely. Choose whatever you like to make a complete meal.

If you try this honey sesame marinade, you’ll likely make it again—it’s simple and delicious. Thanks for reading, and enjoy!

Ingredients
- 2 lbs skinless salmon filet
- ¼ cup raw honey
- 4 cloves garlic pressed
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- Black and white sesame seeds optional
- 10 wooden skewers soaked in water for at least 30 minutes
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
-
Cut the salmon into 1-inch cubes.
-
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, pressed garlic, lemon juice, toasted sesame oil, paprika, salt and pepper until smooth.
-
Place the cubed salmon in a large resealable bag and pour in the marinade. Press out excess air and seal the bag.
-
Gently massage the bag so each piece is coated. Let the salmon marinate at least 15 minutes, up to 2 hours for more flavor.
-
Thread the salmon onto soaked wooden skewers and arrange them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
-
Bake for about 10 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and just cooked through. Avoid overcooking to prevent dryness.
-
If desired, sprinkle with black and white sesame seeds. Serve immediately over steamed rice, quinoa, or with steamed vegetables.
