These mini M&M cookies are bright, colorful, and exactly the kind of treat that brings a smile. Soft, chewy dough studded with mini M&Ms gives you bursts of chocolate and color in every bite. Kids love them, adults remember them fondly, and they’re always a hit at cookie swaps, bake sales, and parties. Because the candies are mini, they spread more evenly through the dough, so each cookie gets plenty of chocolate without any single bite feeling overloaded with candy. Make a batch for any occasion and watch them disappear fast.
- Swap: Try dark chocolate mini M&Ms for a less sweet, slightly more grown-up flavor.
- Make-ahead: Scoop and freeze dough balls; bake directly from frozen for fresh cookies any time.
- Storage: Keep cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days. Adding a slice of bread helps retain softness.
- Variation: Use seasonal M&M colors to match holidays — red and green for Christmas or pastels for Easter.
- Serving: Arrange on a colorful platter or serve alongside cold milk for a classic presentation.
One afternoon felt like a perfect cookie-baking day, so I whipped up these chewy, delicious mini M&M cookies. They’re easy to make and quick — ready in minutes. On the MyWW programs they’re 1 SmartPoint each, or two cookies equal 1 point on the older plan.
Mini M&M Cookies

Ingredients
- 2 Tbsp light margarine
- 1/2 Tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp egg whites
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3 Tbsp mini M&M’s
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Spray a baking sheet and set it aside.
-
In a bowl, beat the brown sugar, light margarine, and honey until combined. Add the egg whites and vanilla and continue beating until smooth.
-
Stir in the flour and baking soda until just combined. Fold in the mini M&M’s.
-
Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them a little apart.
-
Bake for 4–6 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden. Let the cookies cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a rack to finish cooling. Nutrition note: 1 SmartPoint per cookie on MyWW programs; 2 cookies = 1 point on the older program.
