A delicious sparkling strawberry punch made with strawberries, pineapple juice, and 7UP. Add heart-shaped strawberry slices as a garnish for the perfect Valentine’s Day punch.

I look forward to Valentine’s Day every year—not for gifts or a night out, but for a quiet, romantic dinner at home. My partner and I began staying in years ago to avoid crowded restaurants, and it became a favorite tradition. We prepare a surf-and-turf dinner after the kids are asleep: grilled steak or filet mignon with shrimp or lobster tails. For sides we usually have asparagus and mashed potatoes, and dessert is often something chocolate. Drinks vary from sparkling cider to water, or a festive Valentine’s Day punch.

Today I’m sharing an easy recipe for Sparkling Strawberry Punch. It’s refreshing, lightly sweet, and perfect for Valentine’s Day—made with sweetened strawberries, pineapple juice, and 7UP®.
Sparkling Strawberry Punch
Makes about 2 quarts.
Ingredients
- 48 oz. (four 12-oz bottles) 7UP
- 1 (15-oz) container frozen, sliced, sweetened strawberries
- ½ container frozen pineapple juice concentrate
- Fresh strawberries for garnish (optional)

Allow the container of frozen strawberries to thaw on the counter for a couple of hours or thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Pour the thawed strawberries into a blender.
Add half of the can of frozen pineapple juice concentrate to the berries and puree until smooth.

Pour the strawberry-pineapple puree into a large pitcher.

Add the 7UP and gently stir to combine. Let the mixture sit for a few minutes to settle, then skim off any froth from the surface.

To create simple heart-shaped garnishes, cut a strawberry in half and remove a small “V” notch from the top of each half. For smaller, thinner hearts, slice each half once more.

Serve the punch in glasses with a few strawberry heart slices on top and enjoy. This recipe yields just over 2 quarts of punch—enough for several servings at a small gathering or dinner for two with extras.
7UP is versatile in non-alcoholic drink mixes. Try pairing it with pink lemonade for a sparkling lemonade, or add a scoop of raspberry or lime sherbet for a creamy float—simple ways to change the flavor profile while keeping the preparation easy.
